If someone asked tomorrow, what does your company stand for?

August 28, 2025 · The Jason Katz Newsletter

Most founders obsess over strategy, product, and growth but forget the invisible glue that keeps a company from flying apart: values. Not the ones framed in the lobby that nobody reads, the real ones that guide decisions when things get messy.

That is why we made Vibe My Company. It is a quick, free assessment that runs you through a few thoughtful (and slightly tricky) scenarios, then spits out your company’s actual core values, the ones you can reinforce with your team so everyone is rowing in the same direction.

Take it here and see what your company really stands for.

Mindset

Exercise is not just for the body, it’s fuel for the brain.

  • Marcus Aurelius: “When you arise in the morning, think of what a privilege it is to be alive, to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.”
  • Epictetus: “No man is free who is not master of himself.”
  • Seneca: “We should take wandering outdoor walks, so that the mind might be nourished and refreshed by the open air and deep breathing.”

Rumor Mill

The Coldplay suspected cheaters are not in this echelon of monsters… but their reactions reflect our collective schadenfreude.

What might once have been an embarrassing blip in someone’s personal life is now amplified, monetized, and dissected online for mass entertainment. In that sense, the scandal becomes less about who did what and more about how our digital age thrives on spectacle, schadenfreude, and the quick hit of judgment, often at the expense of empathy and humanity.
